Throughout the Eastwood Project designed by Troppo Architects, the stunning roofline is beautifully accentuated by the soft, ambient glow of these uplighting fittings. Beyond highlighting the architecture, they create a warm and inviting atmosphere, providing the perfect ambience for the owners to unwind and enjoy their home after dark.

Meet ✨Jess✨

Our newest Lighting Designer to join the Allera family, Jess has quickly become an integral part of the team. When she’s not creating thoughtful, bespoke lighting designs, you’ll find her in the warehouse alongside Andrea, helping to ensure that every order heads out the door.

Growing up in the beautiful Clare Valley, Jess’ passion for design started at a young age. She loved collecting house plan cut-outs from the Sunday Mail, and that early fascination eventually led her to complete a Master of Architecture. It wasn’t long before she discovered a love for lighting design, and the rest is history.

Jess’ organisation and attention to detail are what make her shine behind the scenes. Stepping in to help fill an Andrea-sized gap in the warehouse is no easy feat, but she’s embraced the challenge with enthusiasm. Her bubbly personality makes collaborating with clients a pleasure, helping them to create well-considered lighting plans that perfectly suit their spaces.

Outside of the office, you’ll usually find Jess playing Touch Football with her social team, rain, hail or shine. When she’s not catching up with friends around Adelaide, she’s often heading back to Clare to spend time with family and enjoy a breath of fresh country air.

Your garden doesn’t have to disappear when the sun goes down.

Our Waterfall Gully Project is proof that a few carefully considered layers of light can completely transform an outdoor space. Warm illumination beneath the seating, softly lit planting and subtle pathway lighting create a space that’s just as inviting on a winter evening as it is during the day.

A reminder that great landscape lighting isn’t about brightness, it’s about atmosphere.
