End of week office clean ups can include the exterior at times! Having a canvas for a wall can be appealing to some but creates more work for others - let’s leave this to the muralists of Adelaide!

Elizabeth Park Primary School | Infrastructure Upgrade

Concepts have been recently approved for infrastructure upgrades at Elizabeth Park Primary School (EPPS). The advancements have been made possible because of a $1.5m Feredal Government Schools Upgrade Fund grant in April of last year (2024).

The project involves two priority works, the first being the demolition of an aged DEMAC transportable building to make room for a new modular building which provides a modern, new classroom and flexible breakout space. The second priority is refurbishment of an existing classroom building. Renewal works include flexible learning spaces for school wide art and science using pragmatically driven materials and finishes for a modern upgrade.

“To have a brand new classroom and a brand new refurbished double space, so essentially three modern classrooms, is really exciting.” - Danielle Green, EPPS Principal, via the Advertiser on the 14th May 2025.

On Tuesday 8th April, the FMC Allied Health Relocation project had its official opening.

We would like to thank the entire project team (Bestec, RLB, WGA, Schiavello, SALHN and DIT) who contributed to the successful delivery of this project - reflective in the extensive positive client feedback we have since received.

The project was delivered both under budget (allowing excess to be allocated to other site projects) and expedited ahead (allowing users to occupy the space and evacuate other areas for works to commence).

Brighton Secondary School | Senior Study Hub

Earlier this year, we completed the interior refurbishment of an old performance hall into a new Senior Study Hub for Brighton Secondary School.

The brief requested to fix and elevate a tired dated interior student space that had been constantly adapted and worn out over the years through temproary manipulation for various needs. The bones were great - a large open, double height space with elevated stage and entry foyer.

We sought to resolve the layout issues by providing obvious circulation pathways, clear sight lines and a large open flexible space for students and teachers to adapt and configure depending on evolving requirements. This was supported by consolidated enclosed private spaces for staff and student use and new glazed sliding doors to an adjacent courtyard to increase the natural light and fresh air. Student lockers and joinery was thoughtfully integrated to increase amenity with a neutral, calming and warm palette aesthetic to encourage student engagement in free study periods or exams.
