Do you like a story?
Here is a story of the start and continuation of Every Day Sustainable Living.
I first came to this clients (now friends) 25 years ago, to prune their glory vine around their house. I had a pair of old secateurs with no spring, and pruned for 8 hours. After this my hands were so sore I used the money I made that day to buy a pair of Felco7s. This was the start of my pruning career. I had these secateurs for 15 years, until I lots them in a paddock somewhere....
I have been pruning and caring for these vines every year for 25 years!
I now prune all around the Fleurieu, southern suburbs and Hills. With a pair of sthil electric secateurs, electric chainsaw and Lowe 1 anvil secateurs.
Lots of learning over the years, and no doubt more to come. I have some pruning workshops coming up soon, keep an eye out for them 🍃 🍂
