Ensure you are comparing apples with apples. If you are only focused on the cheapest quote be aware that some corners may be cut. This 'switchboard upgrade' left the original asbestos panel in place, with a few extra dusty holes drilled through. They have also dangerously reduced the size of the sub mains without providing adequate circuit protection. Originally, 10 months ago, I had been asked to look at upgrading the old switchboard and unfortunately my advice was ignored and the job was taken on by someone else. Now here I am 10 months later providing a quote for the work which should have been completed originally.
