Good morning everyone. Jake from Gardens Alive And Green here.
I hope you all had a brilliant Christmas and New Year's period. And I hope you are all well.
It's been a really tough few weeks for us, and I'm finally feeling well enough to connect with all our customers and let you know what has been happening.
So approximately a week or so prior to Christmas, a member of our household contracted Covid and was terribly sick in bed. A day or two later, another member fell ill with it. As we have young children to care for and we couldn't risk anyone else outside of our household getting it. As most of our childcare options are high risk category if they were to get Covid. So I had to drop everything and care for the kids and takeover home duties, which meant business had to take a pause.
Fast forward to Christmas night, the rest of the household and I ended up getting Covid, and have been battling it all last week and most of the weekend just gone. I honestly cannot remember being so sick in my life. Not for a long time anyway. And I'm still not feeling 100%. I do believe it's going to take me a little while, to be back to full operational ability while my body heals from the virus. And for this, I apologise for any inconvenience.
So if you've attempted to call us in the past few weeks and haven't got through, this I why. I'm attempting to get back on my feet as of today. But progress could be a little slow.
