Check out the Phoenix finish 🐦‍🔥 used to revive the Armidale Train Museum!

For this heritage restoration project, we used the following Dulux WeatherShield colour scheme:

🎨 R64 Deep Indian Red (Gloss)
🎨 Biscuit (Low Sheen)
🎨 Black (Gloss)

If you're planning a heritage restoration or simply love traditional colour schemes, ask your local paint supplier for an AS2700 colour fan deck or colour card deck. Alternatively, give me a call and I'd be happy to help point you in the right direction.

With winter now officially here, this project marks the close of my exterior painting season for 2026. I'm now taking bookings for interior painting projects throughout winter, as well as future exterior work once the warmer weather returns.

Another interior wrapped up and brought back to life.

For this home we went with Dulux Antique White U.S.A. — easily one of my favourite warm whites for interiors. It’s versatile, timeless, and brings a clean warmth into a space without feeling cold or sterile.

One of the biggest transformations on this project was saying goodbye to the old heavy feature walls. What once felt busy and dated now feels open, brighter, and far more cohesive — proof that sometimes simplicity makes the biggest statement.

Hello Armidale and surrounds,

I run a passion project called Neuro.D, with a mission to raise awareness, understanding, and acceptance of neurodiversity.

I’m currently exploring the idea of hosting a monthly social event—a space designed for neurodivergent people to connect, socialise, and find community in an environment where they feel understood, accepted, and safe to be themselves.

Before moving forward, I want to hear from you.

Would this be something you’d attend?
What would make you feel comfortable coming along?
What would you want from a space like this?

Neurodivergent people are socially capable—but are often socially misunderstood.

Around 15% of Australians report significant loneliness, yet studies suggest that rate is 4–5 times higher within neurodivergent communities. That’s something I want to help change—starting here, in our local community.

Alongside this, I’m also in the process of developing a standardised global symbol for neurodiversity—something clear, recognisable, and unifying for the community. If this symbol resonates with you, you’re welcome to use and share it.

This is about building connection, awareness, and community.

Noticing work around the Railway Museum?

Work is underway to repair and remediate the façade and footpath of the Armidale Bicentennial Railway Museum building.

Armidale Bicentennial Railway Museum will be temporarily closed during this work, which includes removal of asbestos and repainting.

This project is managed and funded by NSW State Railways and UGL Regional Linx.

While the building is closed, it is still possible to explore the collection via the Railway Museum virtual tour 🔗
