From Armidale to the USA ✈️
Our EPIC team (or most of us) headed to our sister company for a week of project site visits, collaboration, strategy, and putting plenty of big ideas in motion. Excited to connect across continents and keep pushing great design forward.

Big news. 🌏
My first peer-reviewed paper has been accepted for publication in Applied Energy — one of the world’s leading journals in energy and sustainability. The research examines how architects shape outcomes in off-grid housing, and it’s the foundation for the rest of my PhD.
This is what bridging research and practice looks like — and it’s exactly the work Epic Architecture is built on.
Grateful to my Griffith University supervisors, co-authors, and industry partners. More to come. 🔆

Honoured to have presented at the International Conference on Sustainable Energy Engineering (ICSEE) this week.

I’m also incredibly grateful to have received a Best Paper Award, selected by the conference scientific committee and publisher. Recognition like this means a great deal — not just for the work itself, but for the broader conversation around off-grid, sustainable architecture and the role of research grounded in practice.

A strong start to the year, with plenty more ahead across my PhD and Epic Architecture in 2026.
