On Thursday we took down this river gum because of a low co-dominant trunk and the customer was more than happy to use the wood for a future burn to keep the house nice and warm during our colder months.

Me and the team over at O'Connor Catholic Collage completed some tree work over the school holidays.

A few peppermint gums with some significant defects needed to be removed, one was over the huge water tank, close proximity to high voltage lines and over freshly laid turf with the end result being pretty well perfect.

We also had the chance to further preserve the longevity of the Mature Liquid Amber and its neighbouring next generation by giving it a formative prune and dead wood removal.
Its an outstanding centrepiece of the gardens infront of the front office and De La Salle building and actually one of the largest examples of this tree I've seen.
