One of the things I enjoy most about this industry is seeing the latest colours, textures and finishes hitting the market. Staying up to date with new products means we can continue offering clients fresh ideas and solutions that suit modern homes and changing design trends.

A recent custom bathroom build by RJC Cabinetry in Baldivis, WA. The original space was clean but builder-grade. The brief was simple: a bathroom that feels like part of a considered home, not a checkbox at handover.

The build:
• Full-length Polytec Notaio Walnut vanity, flat panel — dark grain to warm a cool tile palette
• Mojave Light Grey Brick porcelain feature tile by Ceramica Rondine (Italy) — vertical stacked, glossy, with black angle trim for clean transitions
• Cibo white gloss fluted round above-counter basin
• Mondella Overture brushed nickel basin mixer — single finish at the vanity
• Earthstone Desert Sand speckled stone benchtop
• Matte black bath and shower fixtures throughout — single secondary finish, no mixing
• Black-framed arched mirror to soften the architectural lines
• Built-in hob bath, integrated into the tiled base

A recent custom kitchen build by RJC Cabinetry in Mosman Park, WA, completed March 2026.

The brief was straightforward: a kitchen that doesn't date. That meant materials with weight, restraint in the detailing, joinery sized to the architecture of the room — and a single trade managing every component, every sub-contractor, and every compliance certificate. No client juggling four invoices, four warranties, and four phone numbers.

The build:
- Full-height Polytec Rubra Woodmatt cabinetry — flat slab profile, slab to ceiling, no bulkhead, no shadow line
- Brass bar pull handles, single finish, every door and drawer — supplied by Entry-Point
- Light Stone Ambassador engineered stone benchtop and continuous splashback — fabricated and installed by TDR Stone (Mandurah)
- Franke white undermount sink, brass gooseneck mixer
- Blum Inserta hinges, Blum Antaro soft-close drawer runners, Wesco Pull Boy Z bin drawer via Wilson & Bradley
- Internal carcass: white melamine, CNC manufactured by Flatpacks WA
- Custom timber-framed bar stools, sized to the island
