We had a lovely evening tonight celebrating our record breaking season! 🥳

4 of our Harvest Leaders, 4 committee members and our inbox manager Ruth were able to get together for dinner and a catch up 🤩

It's not often that we get the chance to all come together, and some hadn't met in person despite often emailing or messaging.
Ruth works behind the scenes for us and is often the point of contact but most people never get to see her beautiful face.
She joined late and missed out on the photo so she will have to remain a mystery for some of you! 😆

Every year we spend winter improving our processes to make THO bigger, better, and easier to volunteer for.

We've got some exciting changes happening to our distribution which will make life a lot easier for our Harvest Leaders.

Our Volunteer Coordinator Marianne (on the right), who we can no longer call "new", has done such an incredible job this year.
She has gone above and beyond in the role, and is such an invaluable support for our Leaders and committee.

We are recruiting new Harvest Leaders now!

There's no better time to join us.

But isn't it winter? Is any fruit ripe?

Well sure, we don't have that many harvests left for the year.. but that's why it's a perfect time to join!
You can start off slow, get set up and shadow an existing Harvest Leader at a couple of citrus harvests over the rest of the year, and be comfy, confident and ready to go before our busy season hits in Jan.

If you're interested, register via our website: hiddenorchard.org

As much as we LOVE our general volunteers, we have so many that all of our events 'sell out' and people are often disappointed.
(I know! Great problem to have!)

To prevent this, we need more Leaders to coordinate more harvests so there are more for our general volunteers to attend!

If you're a general volunteer but keep missing out on tickets or want more harvests at times that suit you, why not become a leader and organise harvests literally around your schedule? 😆

You'll be joining an amazing, supportive, inspiring team 😍
