Trying my hand at Rock Balancing for the first time. So happy I took the photo's because I bumped the seat not long after this and... *sighs* lol

I'm giving a section of the front garden a makeover, it's almost done for the initial finish and will post a pic in the next week or so, but I know I will have to play around with it a dozen times or more, add to it etc.

Succulent kiddy chairs & supersizeme tea cups 😁

The chairs could use a paint to cover the scabby looking stickers, but that can wait for another day. Nath cut the holes which wasn't an easy task. I pinched the table from kids cubby house... well they weren't using it lol. It's a little low but works well until we scrounge up something else. Mind you the supersizeme tea cups fit it perfectly.

Finally pulled my finger out, about a month ago, and did up the boys crappy old white bedside tables. They were badly painted with a half arsed coat of white when I got them second hand. The boys (youngest especially) had written his name, scribbled, drawn scribbly pics and written on his brothers "Z is dumb" I was OVER the ugliness!

When the kids went away for a few days, on holidays, it was the perfect opportunity to just do it!

I didn't have much CA$H so I used the acrylic paints, I had on hand, and mixed the green and blue to my liking, reversing the colours to maintain a theme, yet have separate identities.

I'm stoked with the results. They are far from perfect but I'm new at this and the boys are over the moon. No more scribbles! Woo Hoo!!!

Special shout out to Nicola O'Neil whom I can't tag atm. Thanks for all your help my chick, love ya guts! 😍💋💋 Thanks for keeping me amused and motivated for singing and dancing in the front yard with me, while trying to paint straight lines. If you see any crappy bits, they were obviously the bits Nicky did 😂😂😂

Hey Christmas! You're killing me with your restrictive timeline! This is going to require way more booze than originally anticipated.

💲ave money doing DIY they say... Pftt I need supplies to paint, glue, string, decorate and snaz things up 🎨🔖🔆🌟🌈🐚

Second hand is awesome, love to ♻ but it's a f**kload of time and effort. Sometimes the ol' elbow grease stretches a little thin. That's usually when I make mistakes and chuck tantrums. (Also, I'm winging it, fu**ed if I know what I'm doing 😕😏).

So, here's two of the Christmas Cupcake Succulents I painted, decorated and potted as teacher gifts 🎂🌱
I was quite chuffed with them, and secretly I think other mum's were jealous of my mad skills 👍

The pic of the red one was sent to me by the Kindy teacher as I was rushing and forgot. So... you get the idea.

I think this may have been a Gothicesque seat, but not sure exactly. Nath transformed it into planter boxes. He started work on it before I got to take a before pic, but you can kind of tell how it looked before it's recycling ♻. It looks absolutely stunning on our front verandah ❤

The "Croc-crete-O'diles" have arrived at savage hART! 🐊

Say hello to Hook, the cutest and most ferocious guard Croc in town.

The Croc-crete-O'diles are made, by Nathan, from cement and can be made in a variety of colours, we found the earthy tones look best.

We gave a gorgeous little olive green Croc-crete to a friend to help watch over their treasured possessions and ward off pirates.

Croc-crete-O'diles, named by Katie (that's me btw), make a great little addition to any spot around the house, yard or balcony.

I repotted quite a few plants on Saturday night, it was quite romantic sitting in the mood lighting of my front verandah 😁 Until... Lights out London!...That same damn light, all too bloody frequently.

So I finished the birthday project I was working on a week ago, but I didn't want to post pics until after the gift had been given 😊 Yeah it was a few weeks late but well worth it.

But what is it? Last pic reveals all 😉

Little secret... the barbs on the wire are hand made, by me, from twine and a little imagination and creativity. I'll post work in progress pics at another time.

If you could please give me some feedback on this I would be very grateful. Would you look twice at it while browsing in a shop?

I have a few ideas for varied designs of this and other horseshoe decor. I can do any colour and make it more girly or blokey. I can leave the horseshoes rusty or slightly rusty.

Quick place an order for Christmas now, and someone you love could be opening it about New Years Eve hahaha 😁
