Mario Bellini is 90 years old and still going strong. A designer and architect with an illustrious career, his impact on design has been far reaching from typewriters for Olivetti, cameras for Fuji, dashboards for Lancia to furniture designs for scores of manufacturers. I’ve had the opportunity to work on lots of cab chairs designed for Cassina and just this week, the opportunity to restore his Camaleonda modular sofa system designed for B&B Italia. This 1970 lounge was a privilege to restore and bring back its original beauty from 55 years ago.
