A water tank clean done today in Upwey on a smaller rainwater tank. This one had a finer build up at the bottom. Pumped out the Sludge, checked inlet filters, water filters, filter baskets and general health of the rainwater system.

Today we were working in Belgrave cleaning an 18,000L rainwater tank. We also swapped over their water filter, cleaned inlet baskets and pumped the blackest sludge from the base of the tank onto the customers grass for a good organic feed.

We were able to do this with a full tank of water, losing around 25% of the volume for a pretty heavily sludged tank.

This one opted for our Tank Safe water treatment, a food grade treatment of H202 which breaks down into water and oxygen over 24hrs, after killing 99.9% of the remaining bacteria in the tank.

A water tank cleaning job completed today, two tanks getting their bi-annual clean out of what we call 'sludge'.

Rainwater Tanks build up organic matter over time, and without removal become a haven for bacteria which can make you and your family unwell. It's reccomended to check and pump this out every 2-3 years, depending on your tree overhang, capture source and filtration system.

We remove the 'sludge' from the bottom and pump it out on your grass or garden, leaving a much cleaner water source for your home.

Bluegum is back in stock! About $100 per tonne cheaper than redgum at present, this firewood has higher heat output and easier lighting. The perfect wood to burn if you are firing up in the mornings or in the evenings to warm the place up 🔥🔥 If burning overnight we still reccomend the redgum. Better coals and longer burn times.
