Struggling with reading, writing or maths in Primary School?

I love helping children learn to read and write, and improve their maths skills.

I have a few changes with my timetabling, so here is my availability for tutoring and support services in Term 3:

* Tuesdays: Before school and mornings around Beerwah/Glass House/Landsborough.

I tutor in the comfort of your home or at Beerwah Library.

I also work with adults, including those with NDIS who require support.

I recently assisted with editing a master's and absolutely loved it. So, I am broadening my services to include editing assessments/assignments. If you have an assessment piece (including school or university) that requires editing, I have started adding this into my repertoire of skills.

In addition, I have an update with my tutoring times:
Wednesdays 8:30am to 4:15pm around Coolum area.
If your child needs assistance with tutoring after school (about 3-4pm) in Coolum area, I have a vacancy. After school sessions can be difficult to find and I come to your home or meet at the Coolum Library.

With much movement over the holidays, I have availability for tutoring children and adults on Wednesdays.

Wednesday Vacancies:
* 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. - around Coolum area

I am best suited to assist students working at a Prep to Year 6 level who require additional assistance with reading, writing and arithmetic (AKA English and Maths). This includes adults who require support at this level too. In addition, I work with students in high school (up until Year Nine academic level).

I am an experienced teacher, who has worked with children from six weeks to 18 years of age since 1999. I have a bachelor's degree in Primary Education majoring in Special Education (Vision Impairment) and have worked as a teacher across a variety of roles including classroom teacher, Advisory Visiting Teacher - Vision Impairment, support teacher and relief/casual teacher. I have worked in primary schools and high schools. As I am qualified in the area of special education, I am keen to work with adults as a support worker and help you obtain your NDIS goals. I have some basic knowledge of sign language and braille.

I opened my business in 2020 and have an up-to-date senior first aid certificate and CPR. I also have a Working with Children card (blue card), NDIS Worker Screening (yellow card) and insurance to give you peace of mind.
