Hibiscus plants for sale $10.00 hardy little plants, will survive frost if well mulched for winter. Always a lovely show in the garden!

Watering: During their growing season, water hibiscus regularly ensuring they are draining well, so not left wet.

Soil: Add good amounts of ActivGrow Soil Improver and Cow Manure Plus to the soil prior to planting, ensuring the soil is rich and well-draining.

Mulching: Mulching with Sugar Cane, Lucerne or Pea Straw is ideal around the base of your hibiscus, ensure the mulch does not contact the stem of the plant. This will keep the soil moist, but also the roots cool in hot weather.

Pruning: It’s important to prune your evergreen hibiscus at the start of the growing season (once the last frost has passed), typically in September. Deciduous varieties should be pruned in winter. All Hibiscus flower on new season wood.
