Quite the transformation on this one ! A beautiful home we got to rejuvenate in Barkly street. It has certainly needed some love for some time.
The owners love the traditional look of the home and we have painted it again in its original colors.
My team have put in a ton of prep of this one as usual to provide longevity in the coating.
We were able to assist the owner by replacing the eave lining boards on the porches as well as patching some missing ones in the upper eaves. We installed some new windows in the dormer gable and the upper bay window, along with replacing shingles that were either missing or so deteriorated they couldn't be salvaged .
We also patched some of the roughcast to complete the overall quality look of the home.
The owner is in the process of stripping all the paint from the lower brick section which is why it doesn't have the same high-quality finish on it in the photos.
Thanks to Ben and his team from Wharton Construction Group Pty Ltd for assistance with the scaffolding, we like to think we provide the guys with a challenge on every job and this one was no different!!

What an epic job this one was, this is a home that the owners had us painstakingly restore to not only looking amazing but will now last the future owners for a long time.
Not only painting but we had plasterers, carpenters and roofers complete works to restore this beauty back to amazing condition. We painted the internal, external and the poolhouse/garage. All up we were on site for about 6 months. Stripping wallpaper in several rooms.
We put a dado rail down the hallway and installed a beautiful anaglypta which looks amazing.
There was a lot of rotten wood externally which we removed and replaced with new. The home is solid as a rock now. Externally the gold highlights really have added that touch of class. Even the front fence got a makeover along with the side fence and footbridge.
The clients actually had a so called painter absolutely destroy the painting on this home prior to us getting the job. It actually took us a long time to remove all of this paint as none of it had stuck due to zero prep. Pretty sad considering how amazing the home is.
We paint some very nice homes but with the details on this one it was a special one.
The home is now for sale

We completed this well known structure last year I just realised I hadn't put in the completed picture. The lotus looks amazing! Had a power of work by my team! Repairing massive cracks in the leaves as well as deterioration due to weather and wear and tear. We also painted the pink seats in a 2 pack to keep them protected from the elements. We work on a variety of works and there is no job we cant undertake and complete to an extremely high standard!

Some update photos of a couple of the jobs we have underway. The team have been working hard on these iconic items. The detail is underway in the chinese gardens and we have also been awarded the job of revitalising the massive lotus flower in the dai gum San precinct. There won't be much in that area we haven't painted and what great experience it is for the team to showcase our workmanship!
