This is a fernery and mossarium that I built last year. I love rainforest environments and wanted to be able to grow ferns in Bendigo. This house has been up and running for about a year now and is doing really well

For the month of August, Loop Bar and Project Space - in Meyers Place, Melbourne, is the temporary but rather splendid home for a selection of my recent work. In a week, or two, Clare and I will be going down for some refreshing celebratory cocktails. Probably a Thursday evening. Will keep you all posted as to the exact date. If you'd like to join us you are more than welcome and I believe we will enjoy the benefits of a discounted bar and all the thrills and spills of the big city. Woohoo!

Call out for submissions. Loophole is a space for local designers, artists, curators, craft and accessory makers to show innovative and experimental work.

NORMAL SERVICE INTERRUPTED DUE TO BEING HUMAN. Not too much going on right now folks, other than rest and crossing my fingers. Have manged to compress a few discs in my neck and as a result, I have a trapped nerve root with lots of stupidly persistent referred pain down my right side. Lots of trips to the doctor and osteo and physio and radiologist and doctor and .... you get the idea. If I could just screw off my head and clean out the joints like a good little robot I'd be hunky dory. Guess I'll just have to wait and rest. You know how much i love doing nothing. Very frustrating. Apologies for the delays with exhibition handouts and I'll let you all know when I'm good to go with future projects. "We have the technology" (but not the private health cover)

NOT VERY LONG NOW. Today was build it higher day with the time lapse camera running in the corner, whilst Rohan and I stacked crates to make the city foundations. Cheers Rohan. Can't wait to see that little film on Friday night at the opening. On the long w/e I laid out 65 floor panels to paint in the backyard. It was all very Jackson Po***ck. I fear my lettuces got a good wafting of overspray. Oh well. The city floor looks awesome. tomorrow is robots in place day. How will i sleep tonight?

Hi everyone and i do mean everyone. I am madly, manically and passionately preparing for a sculpture exhibition in June at Dudley House, featuring a city full of robots. Oh yeah! Here they come.

Please can you take a look at this Crowd Funding campaign for the exhibition and support what will be my first solo show in years and hopefully, the start of some much broader community based creative projects.

If you pledge your support I'll love you forever, (again) and be able to create an awesome exhibition for you all to enjoy without going broke in the process. Heaps of tasty rewards on offer. Go for it!!

Had a lovely 1930s hardwood / plywood desk to renovate a while back. Quite solid but dead honest with some nice detailing. My client was very pleased with the results and asked if i could produce two new pieces mimicking that style. I said yes. Here's the reults. A bookcase and a cabinet to store a desk top and printer. hence all the ventilation holes.

Hi everyone. Well it's finally cooled off in the workshop. Yipee. Always a challenge making furniture when it's hot - The glue tends to dry too fast and everything is that little bit harder. Still managed to make some fine pieces recently though. Check out the two new albums and feel free to call me with your interesting projects. Am taking bookings for April

I am so happy. Just worked out how to make, copy and share components across different Google sketch up models. Gonna save me heaps of time. I hate to say it, just because i loath Google and all they stand for, but it REALLY is a very useful layout tool, especially once you've mastered basic functions.

A few weeks back i was asked to fix up this charmingly decrepit little stool. Family heirloom - lot's of happy memories - yadda yadda. "Needs a bit of TLC" was the clients description. "Good for kindling" were my thoughts." But the voices said, " Pete, fix me up will you?. I was made well, with love and skill but I've been sat in a damp shed for 50 years." Clearly the varnish is getting to me because i said sure I'll fix it up. Here it is, all shiny and new
