Bright colours are the theme this week, and there are bright colours everywhere!

We’ve just unpacked a big shipment of brightly coloured fibreglass pots along with our glazed terracotta Decor range, all in bold, eye catching finishes. They’re perfect for adding a pop of colour to patios, entryways or indoor spaces, and we’ve got a great mix of small through to medium sizes ready to go. A big thank you to Robyn as well, who was looking the part and kindly jumped in for a photo amongst the pots.

There’s plenty happening across the nursery too. Advanced Grevillea “Pink Profusion” are in and covered in flowers, great for bringing in birds and adding year round interest. Our natives section is packed right up at the moment with a full range of sizes, so it’s a great time to get stuck into planting. We’ve also had a big run of Passionfruit varieties come in, along with the return of the popular dwarf “Jazzy” orange flowering Hibiscus.

Djeran (Autumn) is a great time to plant while the soil is still warm and the weather has cooled off, giving plants a strong start before winter.

Djeran (Autumn) has settled in nicely and the nursery is looking fresh again with heaps of new stock coming through.

Some standout arrivals right now include:
Kalanchoe “Bronze Sculpture” with its rich sculptural foliage,
Scaevola “Super Clusters” and “Aussie Spirit” putting on a strong show of colour,
Adenanthos “Platinum” with its soft silvery tones, and
Backhousia citriodora, commonly known as lemon myrtle, which is well known for its fragrant leaves that can be used in cooking and teas.

We’ve also got Pycnosorus “Billy Buttons” with its bright golden drumstick flowers and Scleranthus “Lime Lava” forming dense, lime green mounds that work brilliantly in pots or as a feature groundcover.

Across the nursery there’s plenty happening with groups of plants as well. Salvias are flowering heavily at the moment and bringing in pollinators, Banksias are looking strong, and Correas are starting to bud up as the weather cools.

If you’re into that softer cottage look, we’ve got a great range of Brachyscome, Dianthus, Diascia and Bidens all looking colourful and ready to go straight into the garden or pots.

Member special at the moment is Alternanthera “Little Maroon” in 180 mm pots. Normally $22, now $18 for members. It’s a great low growing foliage plant with deep maroon tones that holds its colour really well.

We’ve also just unpacked a fresh delivery of small to medium fibreglass pots along with a range of colourful décor pots. They’re currently being worked out onto the shelves, so if you’re after something bright, modern or a bit different, there’s plenty coming through.

We’re open all long weekend, 9AM to 5PM every day and now that Djeran (Autumn) is here, there’s no better time to plant, plant, plant.

The weather is cooling down, the soil is still warm, and plants have the perfect chance to settle in before Makuru (Winter) arrives. If you’ve been putting off the garden, consider this your sign to get stuck in.

We've just received a fresh batch of Philodendron 'Caramel Marble' and they're looking exceptional. Each plant features bold, highly variegated foliage with rich tones of caramel, cream and pink making each one completely unique. We’re fully stocked and ready for the weekend at Kambarang Garden Centre, and our website is live and up to date. If you see it online, you can buy it.

We’ve just brought in a huge range of 10cm cactuses, Venus fly traps are back, and there’s heaps of fresh Echeveria and Sempervivum varieties to choose from. There’s also a big drop of new succulents, including the standout Crassula swaziensis variegated “Money Maker”.

Autumn colour is looking great right now, with Calibrachoa, Salvia, Bidens, Bacopa and Brachyscome all in stock and flowering. If you’re after natives, we’ve got plenty, including the new Grevillea “Orange Wow” and the always popular Chrysocephalum “Desert Flame”.

Bulb season is underway as well, with a wide selection now available including daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, ranunculus and more.

Just arrived – Philodendron "Caramel Marble"

One of the most sought-after variegated Philodendrons on the market right now. "Caramel Marble" is famous for its dramatic marbling in rich caramel, apricot, cream and deep green tones, often with new growth emerging in warm coppery hues before maturing. Every leaf is completely unique and highly collectible.

Grows approximately 60 cm to 1.2 m tall indoors with support, making it an outstanding statement climber for bright indoor spaces.

These are extremely hard to come by, with similar sized tubes commonly selling online for $90–$100 or more.
