Finally someone has done something about the vandalism of trees in Perth, now just have to catch them. Fines for vandalising trees in Perth's CBD could soon increase from $500 to $5000.

The City of Perth council is set to vote on whether to review two local laws which, if changed, could increase the fine for the offences from $500 to $5000.

Pruning in vicinity of power lines is dangerous. Only use qualified/certified contractors to do this work as you could be seriously injured or die and if power is disrupted you face the risk of mega payment for re-installation of the grid and fines.
