As promised to Anne, I mowed her front lawn for free using her old Grillo. I wanted to test the Grillo in long grass and done very good. Am very impressed with it 😊

When Anne gave me the Grillo, it had been sitting in her shed untouched for 4 years collecting dust. After plenty of work getting it back into shape, it was finally time to put it to work!

Anne was very impressed with how well the old Grillo performs now and was extremely grateful to see it back doing what it was built for. 🚜💪

To top it all off, she left us a lovely review on Google, which is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Anne, for trusting me with the restoration and for your kind words. It means a lot to a small local business. 🙏🙂

🌿 My biggest weeding job I've ever taken on! 🌿

Just over 1 tonne of weeds ended up going to the tip! 💪🚛

This massive job took us 2 full days to do properly, and we're only just getting started. There are still many more days of hard work ahead to bring this property back to life and make it look amazing.

Big thanks to jesse for putting in the effort and smashing through such a huge amount of work. He not scared getting his hands dirty. Stay tuned for more progress photos as we continue the transformation later on 👌🔥

💡 TIP OF THE WEEK 💡

Ever bought a new chainsaw chain and ended up with a tangled mess straight out of the box? 😅

Here's a quick tip: Don't just pull the chain apart! Lay it flat on the ground, find the twist, and slowly rotate the loop through itself until it naturally untangles. This helps prevent kinks and saves you a lot of frustration before fitting it to your chainsaw. 🔧🪚

A 30-second trick that can save you 30 minutes of head scratching! 👍

While I was doing a job today, I looked across the road and saw a young couple PUSH mowing and whipper snipping their empty block. I just couldn't resist helping them out! 💪

I jumped on the ride-on and knocked the whole job over for them free of charge. It would've taken them hrs, it took me 20mins on the ride on. Sometimes it's nice to lend a hand and help people out. 😊

To top it off, they bought us a carton of ###X as a thank you, which they absolutely didn't have to do! 🍻

They were so appreciative, and seeing how happy they were made it all worthwhile. Legends! 👏

Just want to say a massive thank you to Anne for giving me this free Grillo 7.10 steep-slope mower! 🙌

It had been sitting in her shed untouched and collecting dust for 4 YEARS! After seeing it, I promised Anne I'd get it back up and running, and in return I'll be mowing her steep block for free as a thank you. 👍

This machine needed a fair bit of love:
✅ New tyres
✅ New carburettor
✅ New belts
✅ New pulley
✅ New bearings
✅ New fuel filter

A huge thank you also goes to Jason and the crew at Mower City Tweed Heads for helping get this machine back into action. These guys don't mess around! I got the mechanic's approval, and they definitely know their stuff. 👏

Unfortunately it's only 2WD, but it will be perfect for ongoing rough, overgrown, and long-grass jobs. I gave it a good test run today on some hills and uneven ground, and it's still a great machine! 💪🌱

Thank you again, Anne. I won't disappoint you! 👍
