New recipe night!
Mongolian Beef with Rice and Steamed Orange Cake (hold the orange cake)

I found this one rather yummy, and easy to make. Obviously didn’t make the orange cake, so took a few steps out, and I also steamed the veg in the basket so I didn’t have to dirty the Veroma.

But, will definitely make this one again! All ingredients at home ready to go, just had to buy the beef.

A friend of mine if hosting her family this weekend, and what better dish to make to feed a crowd and keep everyone warm.

A number of guests are gluten free, so to allow everyone the chance to eat, we simply just cooked the dish, minus the pasta, and there will be options available at the event for people to mix in with the chicken. Such a thoughtful host!

4 batches made, a total of 2kg worth of chicken, all made in the Thermi and now just sitting in the slow cooker ready to be put on warm mode for the night.

Sunday meal preps are back!!

Today I have cooked and prepped
🍴 creamy marry me chicken
🍴 batch of steamed rice
🍴 bulgogi beef
🍴 all my veggies cut and ready for steaming/roasting

Feeling prepped and ready to tackle week 6!

Also, cast your minds back to just before school went back, remember when I made all those lunchbox snacks. Update…. We’re still going through them, and I feel what I have left is going to last us the rest of the term! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
