Where It All Began / Where We Are Now
In 1998, I was tired of working for companies, busting my hump, getting nowhere and getting no appreciation. I decided to go out on my own with just a lawn mower, whipper snipper, blower, small trailer, buff machine, a very small carpet shampooer and some chemicals / polishes. Sando’s Home Services was now born.
Sando’s focused mainly on mini detailing, which landed many government cars, because my then GF worked for Natural Resources and drummed up business. One of my eldest cousins, a mechanic, serviced Government cars also, gave me business doing mini details after each service he completed. My uncle whom trained my cousin had me working in his workshop and home as well. I also mowed many lawns with high recommendations.
My GF was talented with computers. She designed, printed and laminated my first business cards, until I was able to afford a dedicated printing company, to print my leaflets & business cards.
In 2001, Sando’s was contracted as a handyman for ABC Child Care Centres, after incorporating minor repairs into my business. For 4 years in Toowomba, Dalby & Gatton, Sando’s maintained a growing ABC Child Care Chain. In 2005 after relocating to a Pristine Bribie Island, between Brisbane and the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Sando’s quickly grew, to maintain approximately 50 ABC Centres from Aspley to Gympie, employing staff & upgrading significantly. We repaired everything.
