Cyclone Preparedness: Secure Your Home Inside and Out

Hope these tips help ☀️

With cyclone Alfred on the way, it’s important to ensure both your fencing and gates are ready to withstand the storm. Here are some essential tips to protect your property:

For Fencing:
1. Check Fastenings: Make sure all screws, bolts, and fittings are tight on your Colorbond, aluminum, glass or timber fences. A secure fence stands strong against strong winds.

2. Trim Back Trees: Remove any overhanging branches that could pose a risk to your fence or home.

3. Inspect for Weakness: Look for areas that may need reinforcement. Strong posts and panels are your best defense.

4. Add Bracing: If your glass or other fencing is particularly tall or exposed, consider adding additional support or bracing to help it withstand strong gusts.

For Gates:
5. Keep Them Closed: Ensure your gates are securely closed including drop bolts in place ,during the cyclone. Open gates can become dangerous projectiles.

6. Check Sliding Mechanisms: Clear any debris from sliding gate tracks to avoid jams. A smooth-moving gate is essential in high winds.

7. Remove Loose Items: Clear anything around your gates that could become projectiles. A tidy yard equals a safer home.

8. Reinforcement: If possible, temporarily remove weak gates or reinforce them to prevent damage. Every little bit counts.

9. Emergency Plan: Discuss with your family how you’ll secure everything if you're not home. Communication is key.

The Sunshine Fencing Christmas party was a great afternoon spent with some friendly competition/ sledging 😆 on the bowling green for abit of barefoot bowls @ Bongaree Bowls club.
We cant thank Rod & all the other members of the club that volunteered & looked after us all so well yesterday. 🙌🏻❤️
We were blown away with how accommodating you were for us all & for putting up with all the ratbags of the group. 😆

Simple but effective 👌🏻

Adding a front fence is a great way to Utilise the front yard & create a bigger space for your much loved dogs & Kiddies all while keeping them safe from escaping with the piece of mind of a sercure fence.

We achieved this customers desires by fencing part section of front boundary which included double gates ;leaving driveway open & returning to front of house with a single gate.

We also ran the fence either side of the side boundaries to finish off the look. Stepped with the fall of the land.

All completed in 1200high
Flat top design ( Black ) with 100x 100 treated hardwood posts. And a Custom panel built over the letterbox 😍

Items along side the house, boundary lines & in the yard can pose as issues when it comes to having a pool compliant fence.

In this case the air conditioning units were the issue here & they can’t just be moved 🤔.... No worries , we manufactured the fence to meet their needs & create a pool compliant fence in 1800 high flat top tubular style pool fencing complete with pool compliant gate hardware.
Powder coated black .
Inspector was happy & so was our customer ... happy days ☀️👌🏻👏🏻
