A small moment in the garden looking the most magical.

Captured beautifully by our gardener of many talents, Lachlan, this autumn leaf is suspended delicately from a spider’s thread. A falling leaf suspended in time and floating in the air.

It takes a Southern Highlands community to bring something like this to life.

Our 2026 Southern Highlands Autumn Gardens Weekend & Plant Fair was a truly special weekend. From the generosity of the owners of our beautiful 2026 open gardens and vibrant stallholders at our Plant Fair, to Sunday jazz, our inspiring guest speakers, and special guest Clarence Slockee.

Add to that our wonderful Monday Immersive Experience partners, the guidance of our Board, and the enormous effort from our Gardens team behind the scenes… it all came together in the best possible way.

To everyone who played a part, we thank you for your collaboration, generosity and energy. And to our incredible volunteers, quite simply, we couldn’t do it without you.

As a community-created, not-for-profit garden, everything we do is made possible through local support, helping us raise essential funds to maintain and grow the Gardens for everyone.
