Some rectifications on some ceilings was needed on this one.

Mold on a ceiling in the Hobby room, gave it a mold treatment followed by 2 fresh coats of paint.

The bedroom, toilet & Kitchen all received a scrape, patch, sand and 3 coats. 1x oil undercoat followed by 2 coats of ceiling flat. (Forgot final photo of the kitchen, but a little touch, we primed and painted the the air vent to blend it back into the environment.

Couple small jobs completed this week.

New solar panels installed, leaked and caused water damage to the ceiling.
Cut out patched and coated.

Second job for the week, previous painter missed a few hard to get to soffits during the repaint.

No job too big or too small.

30+ degrees, humidity at 400%, shirt soaked before smoko. Proper Queensland paint weather 💦🌡️
Roller was sliding off the wall, sweat in the eyes, and the only thing working harder than me was the air con I didn’t have.
But she came up mint 👌
Straight lines, sharp cuts, no holidays… just good old-fashioned sweat equity.
Another job done, another few litres of body weight lost.
If you need it painted, I’ll bring the brushes… and a spare shirt.

Today marks 20 years since Craig picked up a paintbrush and decided, “Yep… this is the trade for me.” 🎨
Starting out as an apprentice, he worked his way through the ranks to become a foreman, at times supervising up to five painters for one of the largest painting companies in the Southern Hemisphere 😲.

During his career he has done 3 years in a Paint trade store learning about all the products that us painters use every day and helping all the DIYers pick the right products to help them with their projects.

Then came the biggest project of all — packing up the family, selling most of what wouldn’t fit in the ute or shipping container, and starting fresh 3000kms away in Gladstone / Boyne Island.
Two decades on, the experience runs deep, the standards are high, and the passion for quality work hasn’t faded one bit. Here’s to 20 years of hard work, steady hands, and the occasional paint-splattered shirt 👏

Thank you to all my clients over the last 6 years who have made my job enjoyable and I look forward to working with new and existing clients for many years to come.

Since moving to CQ, Rejuvenate Painting has given back to the community's over the years we have sponsored 2 golf courses, a Junior golf club and a Junior netball team.

Our brushes are being cleaned, ladders packed away, and we’re swapping paint splatter for Christmas cheer 🎅🍹

That tired old pine has been unwrapped and revealed in a fresh Merbau glow-up.
Sanded back from sunburnt to stunning, then sealed with 4 coats of Haymes Dexpress in Merbau ✨

We didn’t stop there — popped inside and gave the kitchen, dining, living & hallway ceilings a fresh white Christmas too 🎅🤍

Another happy customer… and this one didn’t even need wrapping 🎁

Craig has been doing some early morning late afternoons to start getting jobs wrapped up for the year.

This beautiful little cosy house is no exception.

Removed a few decommissioned skylights & patched.
Replaced 3 doors, and just a tidy up of the walls from Dings and Dents.

Ceilings got a treatment with 2 coats of Solver Maxi ceiling flat.

Walls squeaky clean and shining dressed in Haymes Coverplus Low sheen colour - Dulux Lexicon

Doors , Frames and Trim coated in Haymes Ultratrim Semi gloss colour - Dulux Lexicon 1/4 .

We weren't done there... we then moved onto the exterior of the property.

Cancer council longest day!

Thank you to everyone who sponsored, it means alot.

Craig has completed a total of 61 holes for the day of his 72 hole target, unfortunately the fading light wasnt on our side this year, bit i will be back next year to give it a crack again. Stopped after 36 holes for a quick bite to eat and refreshing drink, regroup, change a few items of clothes. Then back into it for rounds 3 and what we could manage of round 4.

We had approx 15mm of rain over night making the course a little wet and then a quick 10min heavy rain during our 3rd round to make it a little more interesting.

I would like to thank Darrin Trin Trindall for supplying us with nice slow cooked beef and gravy rolls for lunch & Calliope golf club for their warm friendly welcome, great hospitality and their donation towards our group of players.

With a gross of 244 (par 216)
Nett 223
I am a little disappointed with my first round score, but this gives me a target to beat next year when we battle it out again.

Thank you to my playing partners who made the day really enjoyable and had a blast.
