The Zygocactus, commonly known as the Christmas or Thanksgiving cactus, is a stunning and low-maintenance houseplant cherished for its vibrant, seasonal blooms. Unlike many succulents, Zygocactus thrives in cooler, indirect light and prefers slightly moist soil, making it perfect for indoor environments. Carnivorous plants aren't your average greenery- they have living traps that have evolved to lure, catch, and digest insects. Growing in nutrient- poor soils, they' ve adapted in the coolest way possible: turning survival into a full-on hunting strategy. From snap traps to slippery pitchers, every detail is designed to attract prey while looking effortlessly stunning

At a carnivorous plant show, it's hard not to be obsessed these plants are equal parts beautiful and brutal. Delicate, colourful, and almost hypnotic... until you remember they re actual predators. It's nature showing off a little proof that even the most peaceful-looking things can have a savage side.

Lithops, often called "living stones, are small succulents adapted to survive some of the harshest desert environments. Their thick, paired leaves store water and mimic the colour and texture of surrounding rocks, an evolutionary strategy that helps them avoid being eaten. Native to southern Africa, these plants stay
mostly hidden above ground, with only the leaf tops exposed to absorb light.

During their growing season, Lithops produce a daisy-like flower from the fissure between their leaves, usually opening in sunlight and closing at night. Their life cycle is slow and seasonal, relying on minimal water and plenty of light. What looks like a simple stone is actually a highly specialized plant, perfectly evolved for survival - and capable of an unexpected, beautiful bloom.

Collectors Corner stocks lithops year round from a small single plant in 2inch pots to multiple plants in a pot as shown in this reel.
