Hi all, I'm on the look out for an extra set of hands for regen work in the Ipswich area. I have a casual position available for immediate start with two days a week with potential for a permanent or permanent part time position after the new financial year for the right candidate.
This position would be well suited to someone young and keen looking to get a start in the industry, particularly someone in the process of completing their Cert 3, however is open to anyone capable with an interest in habitat restoration and a good attitude.
Current work ranges from Grandchester in the west to the western suburbs of Brisbane in the east and is largely ongoing work for private landowners, providing a great opportunity to actually see long term progress and work for passionate individuals trying to improve their little part of the world.
AC/DC is desirable but not essential to start, just a willingness to acquire, there's sufficient Chem free work in the immediate term. Licence and own transport desirable but ability to arrive on time at 'home base' in Pine Mountain is sufficient.
Rates starting at minimum casual wage rounded up to nearest dollar for some one totally green and needing a lot of training but negotiable depending on skill, experience and knowledge. Initial work will be reasonably comfortable for regen, thus the low starting offer, but I'm not out here looking to screw people over, I expect to a provide a fair rate that reflects the workload and individuals experience level.
Any necessary PPE will be provided and tools supplied.
