The Tropic Gardener has covered areas with lush plants and seating so you can enjoy delicious coffee and treats - cafe open till 1pm everyday ☕️

Inside you’ll find our giftware, more indoor plants and pots to suit everyone and don’t forget to enter the greenhouse to find that collectable plant you’re after and stunning orchids in bloom 🍀

Garden Centre is open Monday to Saturday 9-5pm and Sunday 9-3pm 👍

💝 Orchids Galore 💝

Whether you are a beginner or collector, we have lots of different orchids for you to choose from!

It is the start of the Paphiopedilum Complex season, so come in and check out Jordan’s beautiful grown orchids!

New Cattleya’s are in store as well, the collecting keeps going 😉

It’s Oncidium Twinkle season too! They’re small but mighty with fronds galore!

Grab an orchid friend and come visit us. Sit amongst the lush plants and enjoy a coffee and yummy treat at our cafe ☕️

🪴 Ficus lyrata variegata 🪴

This highly sought after indoor plant is available instore and online at The Tropic Gardener!

It’s a stand out with its striking, marbled creamy-white and pale and deep green on its iconic violin paddle shaped leaves.

Extra care is required than its plain green cousin because of the lack of chlorophyll in the white sections.

They will grow happily in bright, indirect sun. Ensure ample light to maintain its variegation.

Loves humidity so a pebble tray with water underneath can help the leaf tips crisping up.

Do protect from drafts and keep between 18-26c.

Use a well draining mix and allow to slightly dry out on the top of the mix before watering again.

The Tropic Gardener has limited numbers on these beauties, so be quick!

The Tropic Gardener present a bi-annual SPECTACULAR plant event at Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens in the Auditorium.

Come along to meet, greet and buy some amazing plants from some of Brisbane’s best plant growers❗️

The first 50 people through the door will receive a 25% discount voucher to use this weekend at The Tropic Gardener Garden Centre in Kenmore 🪴
