It's still a work in progress, but the courtyard is getting greener! I'm adding so many sun loving plants to my collection. Hopefully by summer I'll have enough shade to keep the courtyard cool.

After only about 18 months of thinking and planning, plus the last 6 weeks of dry start for the plants, and I have finally filled George's new home.
I can't believe how amazing it looks! Especially in the afternoon when the sun slants in on it, briefly. Everything seems bigger, too - even George.
It's my first proper, dirted aquascape, after 2 years of learning and tinkering, and I can't believe how pleased I am with the result!

I've been doing more larger pots gardening in my new place, so in retaliation I made my mum a belated mother's day microgarden in a glass jewellery box.
I couldn't stop fiddling with this one, so it ended up with 4 types of moss and a fern. It's actually a micro paludarium, with a living sphagnum moss swamp!

Thanks to for the live sphagnum - I am going to have fun experimenting with it!
