The catchment is alive with activity this weekend. If you’ve been thinking about getting involved in bushcare, this is your moment. Great people, fresh air, and real impact for our creeks.
**🌱 Saturday | Picot Street Park Bushcare (Kelvin Grove) – 8–10am**
Join the crew restoring the creek corridor — tackling weeds, caring for plantings and rebuilding creekside habitat.
**🌿 Saturday | SOWN Nursery Open (Paten Park, The Gap) – 9–11am**
See where thousands of restoration plants begin their journey. Collect native plants or just drop in for a chat with the nursery crew.
**🌳 Sunday | Saba’s Corner Bushcare (Bardon)– 10am - 11.30**
A beautiful pocket of creek habitat that needs steady hands and sharp eyes. Join the team removing weeds and protecting native vegetation. Meet at the Girl Guides Hut on Cecil Rd.
**🌱 Sunday | Wittonga Park Bushcare (The Gap) – 8–10am**
Come help restore this incredible patch of subtropical rainforest along Fish Creek. Meet next to the dog park off Alutha Rd.
**🌱 Sunday | Wattle Creek Bushcare (The Gap) – 8–10am**
Come help this new group restore a patch of subtropical rainforest. Meet opposite 22 Parkside Crescent.
💧 **No experience needed. No equipment required.** Just wear clothes for gardening, bring a hat and water, and jump in.
