This one is interesting 🤔 just been rescrewed from a roofer but this is what the owner got. When putting in the screws you should be hitting the batten if you dont maybe have a look in the roof! Hard to fine good trades! This is whats happens when you go cheap and doing work like this guys like us that care loose work!

New job on the go!!!
Always do the job right when you start , all grass to be removed!! Before the deck starts..
Maybe you will get that cheaper quote as most decking companies keep the grass there.
