It’s the Carpet Python maternity ward! 🏥

We are only a couple of months away from the time of year that we begin to see an influx in snakes on eggs, or snakes live birthing! This is incredible for the ecosystem, and it means the food chain cycle will gain some importantly sized snakes that can either be prey or predators!

Just one of the many frog species found in the area, although this one is a little bit harder to come by.
Almost certain it is a Slender Bleating Tree Frog.

Our next project is to revive this overgrown, stagnant dam!

We will be adding aeration, removing excess surface vegetation and a few other tricks to get this ecosystem back to health!
