A new one for Fern Valley Gardens a quick sandstone creation. This project took a while to get off the ground but here we are and I like it a lot. This is the start of some exciting plans that these guys have in store. Hope they enjoy step one of their backyard and get the rest done very soon.

This one came up a treat. These beautiful clay pavers were all washed out and lifting and had dropped about 6". After adding 2.5m3 of new material and compacted down with cement. The pattern was turned around to run the correct way and an additional 100 new pavers added we ended up with this result. Thanks to my customers for the business and hope they enjoy their new pool area.

I love when I get to work on my own garden. We fertilised the lawn and applied Acelyprin. We also spread 12m3 of mulch over the gardens and I think it looks great. The hedge received some love as well.

Happy New Year to everyone and I hope 2025 brings happy times.

This one came up a treat. This lawn was overdue for a refresh and when it stormed the water would just rush straight through and under the house. To try to fix this issue we put 2 small pits drains and a larger one above the lawn area. We were then able to redo the paver edging and fix the fall in the lawn as well. Hope you like the difference. If you can imagine it, we can create it! Walkers Turf Supplies

A little update on my own project I have going on at home. I live on a slope so it's hard work but being me I decided to go even harder, but its looking great and I can't wait for the next stage.

All the major walls are done now and it's on to the paving of the flat areas now. We have some awesome 400 X 400 pavers to go down in the firepit area and the 2 smaller flat areas at the top and bottom. We also need to put the rest of the sandstone steps in off the firepit area and also main path up the hill.

Next up though is to run a trench for our rainwater line and the rest of the power. While that happens the rest of the sandstone will go in allowing us to plant some plants.

What a challenge this one was! Auchenflower threw up lots of challenges from aspect to health, and then there was mother nature.

After pretty much 12 months of hard work this is the result we're left with, and I think it's awesome and a place that can and will be enjoyed for a long time.

I went into this job with only a couple of particular requests and the rest it was trusted with me. The 2 requests were tiled steps and some eucelyptus trees. I went away searched around for these trees and found some smaller/dwarf varieties which looks awesome! The idea behind the design was ease and low maintenance. The boulders are granite I took from a local family, the steps are Bluestone and the plants are a selection of Australian Native grasses and shrubs. I love an area to sit in a garden and that was the thinking behind the paved multi use area (I like to call it).

Photos of the front to follow!!

I look forward to returning and helping to make this garden awesome!

If you can imagine it, we can create it!!
