After a period away focusing on other interests, OJR Handyman Services was back to kick off the new year with a nice and tidy kitchen upgrade:

• Existing oven gas line disconnected and capped ✅
• Old gas oven removed and cabinetry void cleaned ✅
• New oven sourced & purchased with trade discount ✅
• Oven installed and new cabinetry face panel fitted ✅
• All rubbish removed ✅

Just a nice,simple project completed late last week.

I was contacted for an office removal job - disassemble all staff tables in their current location, then transport and reassemble them at the new office location.

Alongside this, the original office had several walls with multiple holes in the plasterboard. These required filling and patching, before re-painting.

All work was completed outside standard office hours so as to not impede with staff work routines. It meant for a late night or two but that’s all part of the fun!

The most recent OJR project complete.

An existing built in wardrobe was replaced with this flat-packed IKEA unit for a simple, cost-saving DIY home improvement.

Job steps: remove existing shelving, assemble the new IKEA unit, frame in and gyprock the cupboard space (as the IKEA unit was slightly smaller), and then re-trim. Finishing touches (i.e. plastering and painting) are still to come.

All up the job took just over 6 hours - not bad!

Gyprock Aquachek sheets installed, plastered and sanded, with LED warm downlights fitted.

Now for a touch of paint to finish this space off!
