A nice little gutter, gutter guard and water tank job completed at an Equestrian property today..... very pleased with how it all went. Bit disappointed I couldn't make friends with any horses, but it was probably a good thing because I was there for work and not to cuddle horses. 🤣😍

Today's main job was the installation of a whole house water filtration system. I am very happy with how it turned out.
One of the requests from the home owner, was the addition of an outside tap before the pressure limiting valve (PLV). Not only did we accommodate this, we installed a 20mm outside tap. This will ensure he will get maximum pressure and flow, when ever he needs to fill his pool amongst other things.

Very flattered to have been referred by a staff member of my local plumbing supply store for this hot water unit install...

All hands on deck today for our next, up and coming bathroom renovation.
We had - not only concrete cutters on-site. We also had electrical work happening too! And plumbing of course. 😜
All trades worked efficiently and happily around eachother to get their job done in a tight space, and on time.
It certainly pays to use and work with other trades that you know and trust on the big jobs.
I can't wait to share some more photos with you all.

My client for this one had a very vivid vision for her new bathroom and I was able to work closely with her to help her achieve it.
A completely new layout, beautiful high quality fixtures and tapware and a stunning end result.

Do you feel like your plumbing fixtures are lacking adequate pressure?
It could be due to a faulty Pressure Reduction Valve (PRV).
Over time, like any valve in your home, PRV's can fail and stop performing the job they are meant to do.
There are lots of valves in and around your home that help to make your water service reliable and safe.
It is highly recommended to get a plumbing health check every couple of years to help maintain your water supply to your property.

I find myself on yet another roof top in Wynnum today, tending to a failed solar hotwater unit.
Unfortunately, this will be a costly replacement for the home owner.
Top tip - when considering installing energy saving appliances. Always take into account the replacement and maintenance costs of the appliance as well as the savings you expect to gain over its expected lifespan. This will give you a more realistic idea if the change over will be worth it in the long run.
