Here is a brief description of how we fabricate our jobs that require multiple slabs .
We capture stone slab images with our camera on the photo station . Do a vein match placing all benchtops on the slab prior to fabricating the job

Move the pieces on the slab to get the best possible vein match . This ends up costing us more wastage which we could save , but we don’t instal what we don’t like. Which means we will ensure the job looks great even if we lose some material and have some wastage from the stone slabs allocated and also takes up extra time.

Many other factories will not do a vein match and will optimise stone use , but not us.

The latest in Zero Silica Mineral stone is the print technology . The veins do not run through the body but on the surface
However , there is the cheap print Taj Mahal or the slightly more expensive half body, where some of the print goes through the body and the edge colour is the same as the surface .

We had another customer choose the cheaper version by another company that did not highlight the facts before instal and now the customer wants to replace and pull out a brand new stone top with a very bad edge .

Be careful out there as not everyone is as transparent and you may end up getting an edge that looks like plastic

All in a days work . The Best of the best at it again . Well done Team Affordable Stone ! Mission accomplished, have a really happy client .

What happens in case of stone tops with a join and a waterfall end when the stone is like the calacatta with strong veins . This is a snapshot of how we match the joins so the job comes up perfect once installed . This is possible in case of stone with strong vein patterns running through them like the Calacatta Venetian in this instance . We win a simulation on the software before we fabricate the job . This can sometime lead to wastage but we do the best we can from allocated slabs for the job
