Reusing the same organic materials to support new growth, by adding your compost and amendments directly on top of the old growth. Often referred to as “Black Gold,” the benefits are nearly endless it improves soil structure, is full of beneficial bacteria, increase plants yield and so much more! Worm Castings are so versatile they can be used to top dress, as compost and even made into an aerated compost tea!

This soil is thriving, it’s been top dressed with our malted barley, kelp meal, alfalfa all working in harmony to ensure the soil is full of microbial life. The small white patches, “Mycelia” and are a sign the soils healthy! Mycelia is critical to a plants overall health, helping the soil filter water, break down organic material and fend off pathogens 🍄🌱
