Everyone I meet wants a butlers pantry, but what that actually means is so different for each person. In the past 6 months, I have designed one that is a step in pantry, one that is a pantry and appliance cupboard and one that is a full scullery including washing up zones and cooking space. One even had a complete cocktail bar included!
On the other hand, not everyone can fit one in, nor is it the necessarily the best solution for your space. An appliance and pantry wall may be a better option.

It is important to ensure that you are clear about your goals for this space at the very early stages of your design process so that you ensure there is enough space, ventilation and natural light included for the use you intend.
