A recently finished painting for my husband. This car is really special, we had her for over 28 years. During that time my husband did a complete back to bare metal restoration. A true labour of love. And he did such an amazing job. She was a real head turner.

WIP Day 3 - added clouds, worked on sand and a little on ocean. And added white stripes to the chairs. Reworked legs of man. However not yet happy with them. But need them to dry before I do more. Thankfully they just need to give the illusion of legs and don't need too much detail.

YAY! Back into my painting. Got my art area set up at the new house, it's awesome.

WIP Day 1 - I've laid down the basic structure of the painting. Though haven't touched the seat backs or umbrella. Still deciding what colours to do them. I can see some errors but they should get covered up in the next layer.

Time spent today: 5.5 hours

WIP - Day 3 - I think he might be finished now. Did some more work on the ocean as well as his highlights.

WIP Day 2 - added the underbelly stripes. And added the whitewash to the water at the surface. Also worked on his fin and body colours. For the record I hate doing any line work. Especially black lines. Overall he's taking shape ok.

WIP Day 1 - I just layed in the basic colours today. I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen on day 2. Hopefully...
