Productivity, a catch phrase that leaders in business and government all like to throw around. Improve productivity so we can pay you better. Sometimes it is not about how fast you can complete the job. It can be about improving the quality of the job for the client. Demonstrated here is laying a tarp below the hedge to watch the clipping over the gravel so reduce the need for raking and collection. Putting clipping into bags can be back breaking. The tarp folds up easily and clipping will drop into the bin or bag when the tarp is shaken out. The addition of an outdoor vacuum makes cleaning up the job easier and neater. The Stihl HSA56 has both blower and vacuum function making it a versatile tool for garden clean ups.

I am so happy that one of the 3 Anthurium forgetii that I purchased from The Urban Jungle Society has popped up a flawless new leaf. Will be documenting its growth regularly. This is from the saddest looking plant out of the 3 that I purchased. I have always been fascinated by their spider figure veins. I will be posting up photos of this specimen regularly as this leaf develops.

The home owner request for a quote to trim the tree and when I did a sight visit, I realise it was a Chinese Elm (Celtis sinensis). It grew spontaneously via rouge seed at the corner of the fence and if allowed to grow further will damage the fence. Thus I strongly suggested it to be cut down and euthanised.

The worse w**d tree to cut into pieces is called Chinese Elm (Celtis sinensis). The wood is hard as!!! Even my MSA 220C with tungsten tip chain is struggling to split this piece. If you see this in the yard please remove it asap. It grows into this massive tree is most unwanted locations on its own!

The season of service adjustment has arrived. I will no longer be taking on anymore new yard maintenace locations and also no longer doing normal mowing services from 2025.
I will be adjust my services towards garden problem consultation, garden make over focusing on orchids and new varieties of aroids.
