It's been quite a while since I posted. A combination of other priorities, getting the house ready for market, work, a broken ankle, and a dry Winter/Spring, but I'm able to wander the yard taking in the beauty of the tropical flowers and fruit again.

Minimal Heliconias flowering now, but I can still bring some cheer in from the garden.

7 degrees at 7am in Highvale.
The tropical plants are holding up well with the drop in temperature, but will being working a bit harder in a couple months when we get down around zero on a few mornings.

The first fruit from my dragon fruit plant. Large and tastes great. 2 more on the way on that plant and one on another.

The Monstera plant outside the bedroom window.
There are 5 large fruit almost ripening, another 2 small fruit growing, and 9 flowers yet to develop into fruit. This plant gets absolutely no fertilising, and relies on rain for hydration.
