Vale Doug Richards: You taught me everything about Stonemasonry. A genuine genius in the craft. He was old school and It was an honour to work alongside him. One of the greats who will be truly missed. I took this photo of Doug in 2009 while he was fixing a corble. With the use of slings, chain blocks and little room to work with. He never chipped a stone no matter how big it was.

A tragic loss - Alistar was a gentleman, a craftsman and a friend. He will be missed. A life taken too soon. The stones he made and the stones he laid will be forever.
