Almost one year in business and after visiting hundreds of homes and rentals, mould and moisture issues are something I’m seeing more and more often.
Yes, ventilation is extremely important. Everyday activities like showering, cooking, sleeping, and laundry create moisture inside the home. Without proper airflow, that moisture can build up and lead to condensation and mould growth.
But if a home is being properly ventilated and mould keeps returning, there may be an underlying issue such as leaks, rising damp, roof problems, or poor building ventilation.
Cleaning mould is important, but cleaning alone does not always fix the cause.
I put together these simple guides to help people better understand how moisture, ventilation, and mould are connected.
A healthy home starts with understanding moisture and airflow.
