Did you know it's a common misconception that the Citronella plant itself does not repel mosquito's?
But it's the oil itself when applied to the skin or vapourised into the air that makes it harder for them to locate your scent.
The oil extracted is usually from the Citronella grass and not the citrus scented Geranium (Pelargonium).
I've purposely avoided using big botanical names due to possible information overload.
I've only added the name in brackets as the true plant's name due to Geraniums and Pelargoniums being commonly lumped together incorrectly and I'm a stickler for accuracy.
