Mother’s Day update: my kids treated me to frozen yogurt at Yo-Chi today. 🍦💛

Completely their idea.
Totally selfless.

Had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Yo-Chi is also their favourite treat and they would go every single day if I let them. 😂

But you know what? I’ll take it. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Without question.

Because that’s the thing about being a mum, the gestures don’t have to be grand. They just have to come from them. And somehow that makes a frozen yogurt on a Sunday feel like the best thing in the world.

“Why do I always mess it up.”
