Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone out there.

This year has been a tough one for everyone close to us and from all walks of life. Four months now since Mum went to heaven (26th August, 2021) - after 4 years dealing with cancer she’d had enough. I am grateful I’m alive, grateful for my kids, grateful for my brother and sister (and brother Philip - 10 years yesterday), grateful for my rellies, grateful for my friends, grateful for my job and eternally grateful for all our loved ones in heaven with mum - too many to name. Love your life and make the most of every minute of every day. Stay hopeful and have faith - there is always light at the end of the tunnel - just reach out and don’t lose sight of it.

Hi all - my son Bradley is once again raising funds for “Movember”.

It’s quick and easy to do (I just did it). Bradley has a target which he is close to reaching but if we could double or triple it that would be awesome.

Had a blast last night with my dear regular host and friend Nicki Streets. It was a privilege to give Nicki an awesome bridal shower. It’s also a pleasure to be attending her wedding this Saturday. Mum Dianne would be so proud of you and I can’t wait to share your day with you and Griffin. Thank you again to all who attended and helped make the night really special.

10 years today as a linen chick & I’m still loving it. Lots of congrats from my fellow linen chick & guys family, the lovely Racheal Mitchelson and Joanna Sivec. Came back to work to find these on my desk 😁💖 and some photos posted that aren’t too bad 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is Planty - my oldest plant. He has been with me since I was 18 - ah yep he’s been around a while 🤣. Over the years there have been a few times when I didn’t think he’d recoup from a couple of health issues ie. being left outside for a week while in hospital having no. 2 child - came home and he was just a stick - no leaves no nothing 🤣, various occasions of scale, not being watered. Well, the scale is back and has really attacked Planty big time this time. So, poor Planty, I knew I had to de-scale him and it had to be now. Checked out some Google hints and alcohol was one of them. So off I toddled to the bottle shop to get the cheapest bottle of vodka they had ($30). 🤔 half water half vodka into the bucket, with sponge & gloves I started to painstakingly wipe off the scale (alcohol kills them straight away apparently). Thing is it was taking too long & I had an appointment next door so hence photo 1 is when I started - photo 2 - when I decided it was going to take too long so I gave Planty a haircut instead & hit him twice with the scale spray I already had in the cupboard 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Let’s see if he comes back from this one 😁💖

I finally did it Fiona Aitken. I’ve repotted Scrubby 🤣.

I’ve re-invented my green thumb with some guidance and sometimes gentle growling from Fiona Aitken and couple others 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I now have 17 indoor plants (some with names 🤣). Work Secret Santa 2 Christmas’s ago started me off. Thanks Secret Santa 😍.

Ps. I even have gardening gloves 🤣🤣🤣🤣
