The Development Application for this new build in an historical town-site has been fun but challenging to prepare. Even though this is a new build the home needs to be sympathetic to the heritage listed buildings that surround it on all sides.
The master bedroom and en-suite layout is one of my favorites.

3D rendering for fun. Hi-light windows not only make any space feel bigger, when positioned perfectly they add to the solar passive qualities of any building. These are some renderings from an ancillary accomodation in Margaret River.

The owners wanted this small Ensuite addition to blend in with the existing federation style home. Great Result!

Most people consider the kitchen to be the heart of the home. A lot of thought has gone into this one and it's going to be a ripper. It has been a pleasure working with the owners to design their dream home.
Cant wait to see the finished home.

This Queenslander inspired Ancillary Accommodation over a garage was a bit tricky as we had to consider the overlooking requirements of a balcony, living area and bedrooms. Looking forward to seeing the finished building.

North facing rear deck with clerestory windows over to let winter sun & light into the living areas. With good design the eaves will shade these areas from the summer sun.
