Just a little update on our Byron Bay project for

On this one we supplied all the stone through .au, alongside my trade supplies store for all the materials.

The boys (tagged below) are absolutely ripping in and making waves on this build.

I’ll be honest….
I’ve been slack posting the last few years. Between running businesses and putting on 4–5 apprentices (depending if you count the ones that didn’t make it out alive 😂), it’s been hard to keep up.

But I’m making a push to showcase more of our work - because I back it with my life.

This is all I’ve ever known. Started tiling before I even left school, and this year marks 20 years in the game (not even counting the early days).

I’ve owned shops, had business partners, failed, succeeded… and I’m still here.

Couldn’t do it without the crew — & 🤝

Keep bringing it on 2026… we’re coming for it.

This was a BiG Stone Dawgy job x 💪🏼
Frothing to link up with the lads from — these fellas run a tight ship that’s not just well-oiled, it’s smoothly turbocharged.

Massive shoutout to Fitchy — pushed me beyond the usual limits on this one. 😅 some longer days, heavy gear, and tight mm calls, but he’s a weapon operator and we genuinely rate the work and the opportunity. Respect, mate. 💪🏼💕

Cheers to for linking us up!

So we’ve teamed up with to come up with a fall system for this landing. The whole area needs to fall away from the centre to stop any pooling, but with a bit of a wobbly slab underneath, we had to think outside the box. We wanted to avoid thin screeds and glue beds thicker than a bricklayer’s finger.

So I channelled my inner Tiger Woods gamer days and chalk-lined each tile with a gridded surface into individual zones — each getting a different notch size to suit the exact mm needed. No paper-thin screeds. No glue blobs the size of your fist.

With three staircases coming off this landing and already set risers heights from the above runs every side had to be bang-on level to meet the first risers cleanly. Top-run setups with fall? Yeah nah, not here.

Anyways always keen to try something different and talk s**t if it means levelling up the work and keeping the end result micky mouse.

Anyone else tried something similar or got tips for tricky landings like this? Drop ‘em below — always up for learning a new trick or two. Smart arse comments also appreciated, let’s hear it 😜

It’s been a massive one — we’re absolutely wrecked, but the clients are over the moon… and so are we.

Bokora stone from in a freeform layout, finished with sponge-sculpted mortar joints using GG grouts.

Big thanks to the legends & for the hustle and craft.
Much love x

It’s nice not having to use our levels every now and again 😜 Shout to for supplying their Bokora Freeform product. ✨
