SEEKING EXPERIENCED TRADE QUALIFIED CABINET MAKER FOR IMMEDIATE START

Postion available for a qualified Tradesman with a wealth of experience in the cabinetmaking industry, looking to move onwards and upwards in their career.

Sanctuary Kitchens, a bespoke custom cabinetry business on the Tweed Coast at Chinderah, requires an experienced Tradesman Cabinet Maker to join our team with the goal of moving into factory foreman/leading hand position in the future.

It is a diverse factory based role with opportunities for site work if interested.

We are a small but mighty, family owned business, who've recently had work printed in Home & Adore magazines, and have a fun, enthusiastic and capable team. 

As we have built our reputation on quality and craftsmanship and have grown and progressed, we are now in need of a qualified, experienced, dedicated, determined and organised tradesman, who values quality, to integrate and lead our team in the factory. Someone who is skilled and comfortable in all aspects of cabinetmaking with an impeccable eye for intricate details.

We value team work as a strength and the ability to take initiative and get the job done right the first time.

We specialise in bespoke timber, curved and form work, so precision and attention to detail is an absolute must. And a love for creative, unique projects is helpful.

We urgently need keen apprentices, with a can do attitude, for our rapidly growing business, on the Far North Coast/Northern Rivers area of NSW.

We are renowned for our high-end full interior & exterior fitouts; including kitchens, vanities, storage, laundry's, linens/robes, outdoor entertainment areas, and all related joinery. Our speciality is creative timber work. and bespoke furniture pieces.

Working with the highly skilled cabinet makers on our team, you will learn all aspects of factory and onsite work to develop into a skilled, detail oriented, fully qualified cabinet maker.

Your apprentice role will include; assembly, working with machinery, on-site installations, stock maintenance, maintaining the tools, machines and workshop in a clean and safe manner.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:
You must;
• Have a high level of attention to detail
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools
• Be physically fit and capable
• Have a keen interest in and enthusiasm for this industry
• Be punctual, reliable and hardworking

This will be a fantastic opportunity for the right person to gain valuable hands-on experience and mentoring, in a supportive environment throughout your apprenticeship.

We always love getting surprised with a heartfelt 5 star review!! Especially after such a wonderful kitchen building experience. Sandy and Ian had such a unique vision for their kitchen that it took a few consults and a lot of planning to get it just right but we were so stoked to get to go back to our roots, with some beautiful handmade old fashioned timber work to complete for the base frame, counter tops and shelving.
That.... combined with, creating fresh new VJ routered/2-Pac painted doors, panels and drawer faces, makes for hard work but also cabinetmaking heaven! (a more detailed post with photo's of the kitchen & laundry is coming this weekend...so stay tuned!)

After interviewing three cabinet makers we only found one who would actively engage in my wife's vision for our new kitchen. Damien was able to listen and ask questions to build a better understanding. He pointed out what would or would not work then put together a great set of 3D drawings so we could really see what we were getting. The job was done on time and his price was very competitive. Sanctuary Kitchens was definitely one of the better experiences in our total renovation and we would recommend and use this business again without hesitation. :- )
