With talks of an imminent recession and reports of 1 in 4 homeowners experiencing mortgage stress, this new stimulus plan seems to be a little off target especially for renovations on existing homes. Home owners will have to chip in a whopping $150k to be eligible for the $25k grant 🤔🎯 That’s an awfully serious investment in uncertain times.

The Federal Government will give eligible Australians $25,000 to build or substantially renovate their homes, in an effort to boost demand in the construction sector and keep builders employed, provided they spend at least $150,000 of their own money.
